1- Inicialment la cantant pop nord-americana Little Eva , el 1962 (EUA # 1),
2- Més tard, la banda nord-americana Grand Funk Railroad , el 1974 (EUA # 1),
3- I posteriorment, la cantant australiana Kylie Minogue el 1988 (EUA # 3).
La cançó és un exemple popular i perdurable del gènere de la dansa o ball-cançó.
